Sandy, how many times did you try before you were

approved? Time span, etc.

Hi! Hope your day's going well! I started applying for SSDI after I'd been out

of work due to PSC for a year. I believe that that's their requirement, that

you have to be out of work due to illness for a year, but I'm not positive on

that. Anyhow, I was denied the first time and appealed. We were actually ready

to hire an attorney because we hadn't heard anything in a couple of months when

the approval from the appeal came in. As to the exact time of the process, I

believe it was around 7 months. It felt like years though!
