Guest guest
cj, I am very sorry about your diagnosis. And i don't blame you for your worry, but remember that transplantation has been real successful. And hopefully someone will respond to you and calm down your fears. It is very good that it is found, earlier. Please take a courage and try to keep your peace and hopes, going. I pray so much that you will get the best help from your doctors about how they will proceed. Please do not hesitate to write to us for support, at any time. That is what this group is all about. Specially at a time like this. I pray for a complete healing for you. Subject: Did not get very good news on my biopsy this past week To: Date: Monday, September 15, 2008, 5:11 AM I had a brushing done on Sept. 3rd and on the 10th I met with my Doctor. The Dr. that did the brushings gave me a very good report....not much change in there and he did not think he would see me for 6 months this trip.......WRONG. ....Brushings came back showing CCA. Now I am on the road for a transplant and really stunned....Don' t know what to think, what to feel.....just numb and scared to death....My Doctor told me they can cure this......need some prayers here I guess....I have to go have a bunch of more test like heart, chest CT, ultrasound of pancreas, gallbladder etc. and others I can't remember.... .I have to start chemo and radiation ASAP....Anyone out there been this route? How have you made out? Was chemo by pill or intravenous? so many questions... .Will meet with the oncologist and surgeon this week I think.....hope so anyway...want this over as soon as possible.... .Guess I just am looking for alittle support. cj psc Feb 08, CCA Sept.
Guest guest
cj, I am so glad to see 's Franson's, e-mail to you. I answered you prior to checking other e-mails. I am sure that his positive experience including the transplant and after, will much help to ease your fears. It is great also that there is a support group for CCA patients. A lot of prayers and wishes your way.
