Well interestingly enough, my 10 yr son has Remicade infusions every 6 weeks. His liver function tests have improved, he has more energy then ever, UC is finally in remission and he does not seem to get the flu bugs everyone else at school does. For at least the last several months because of Remicade, he appears better then he has been for 1 1/2 years. However, I am worried about the risk of Lymphoma. Any info on Lymphoma or warning signs. I know it has been noted in Remicade patients but mostly older ones w/Crohns versus younger ones w/UC.. Any info?.

" CONCLUSIONS: Study findings failed to demonstrate efficacy of

This is a pity ... I was hoping that infliximab (Remicade) might

provide some benefits for PSCers.

I have been on Remicade infusions for 6 or 7 months and feel

FANTASTIC!

No Crohns...no biliary pain...improved complexion and overall skin

condition (no longer sensitive to soaps etc..)...less inflammation

regarding my arthritis (hips, back), no mouth sores..

and this is why I have been absent from the group for a few months..

Its spring in Californias central valley..California poppies in full

bloom...orchards in bloom...breathtaking!

My son has been on remicade since May 2005. His UC is in remission -

his PSC has a mind of it's own. At present his LFT's are good but I put

that down to the urso and fish oils not remi.2007 was different - a bad

PSC year when the GI didnt recognise that high doses of Urso were good

and I hadnt discovered the wonders of fish oil!
