Guest guest
Hi everybody, I recently joined the group. I have recently joined another group which also discusses mercury and autism. Basically here's my problem. (by the way they told me to buy this book and I am, and they also told me to join this group as you guys might be able to help me out). I had gluten/leaky gut 2 years ago and i didn't know it till i had all these health problems start. i cut out gluten, went on extremely healthy diet, almost paleolithic (cave man diet). during this process my doc found out i had mercury toxicity and my doc (while my gluten problem was still apparently healing?) put me on DMPS. It was a 3pills a day for 3 days, then 11 days off. during this time my tongue turned YELLOW. Then a while after that, months maybe, she put me on DMSA. I thought i was getting better till I got MORE food alleriges, had lactulose/mannitol leaky gut test, came up positive. So over 2 years my gut keeps getting worse, with increasing food allergies that give me all kinds of wacky weird symptoms. My tongue still is yellowish and I've had every test imaginable. No candida found in stool but low good bacteria was found. I take probiotics, still eat healthy. And for a LONG time i had no more than 1 fruit a day, and that still didn't get my tongue normal when I thought it might be candida. Now, I'm trying desperately to find out if there's mercury in my gut now, causing my leaky gut to not heal? I've heard on the other boards that you need to take chelation drugs more frequently, etc. So I'm trying to find out HOW i can heal my gut??? Do i need to get rid of the mercury first? Can I chelate with anything other than DMPS AND DMSA?? Because I really don't want to do that again and risk more problems in my gut.. Its really frustrating because no doc can really tell me what's going on. Please help!!! Thanks scott
