Guest guest
Hello, Welcome to this board here. You will find a lot of help and support. Others will be able to give you more detailed recommendations. Are you taking any supplements? Cutler says that people who are mercury toxic can feel A LOT better when they start taking supplements and I have found this to be true. A few months ago, I was in pretty bad shape and, thanks to a good supplement regimen, I am feeling 100% better. I haven't even had amalgams out yet, so I know I'll feel even better in the future! Regarding the ear problems, I have those, too. Cutler suggests manganese and vinopcetine. They help. Search the posts on this board and you will find more info on dose. Andy also wrote a post here recently on what to do about depression, so check that one out, too. In my experience, almost everything you need in terms of ino is right here on this board. Take heart----you will definitely get better!! ---Katharine --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Check outnew cars at Yahoo! Autos. DA: welcome to this group - you are LUCKY to find this - not sure I'd be here if I hadnt found it and got onto Cutler's protocol and not the IV chelation... please be careful of any other protocol.. this truly DOES work; the other stuff tends to redistribute all the toxic stuff... just be careful. ***Here's my take on all this: Its like cleaning out a filthy aquarium..with the fish still having to live in it.... would you rather gently and slowly clean out the tank, trying to not disturb the fish? Or use a big ol' shop vac and in the process of sucking up the crud that's fallen into the bottom rocks, stir all that crap up and kill the fish? DA: I am exactly your age and got my amalgams at 10 and then 12, remember feeling wildly different -- after that but everyone chalked it up to puberty and my mom being gravely ill.... have had to deal with the emotional repurcussions of my volatile actions all my life. [started dyslexia, tinnitus - yes, it DOES get much better after a year's chelation for me - episodic rages, wildly extravagant... a lot of bi-oolar symptoms, but recent visits to a therapist gives me hope this will abate even more with more chelation. Hooray! No, your family and friends usually dont understand.. sometimes i wish i had nasty boils on my face to show the world YES, I AM SICK! If your signifigant other and close family DOES, congratulations - you're lots better off than most of us in this group. If you work now, is there any way to be able to work part-time? I know you'll have lower income, can you do that? Or see if they can accomodate you with an hour-and a half lunch so you can nap whilst on rounds... helps me here at my work. i've been blessed that I have been able to work 30 hrs or so a week and keep the wolf away from the door... lol But it was really bery tiring first 3 - 4 months of chelation. But that's really all the symptoms I had.. I did have increased ringing / pressure in my ears for around a month [6mons into the chelation] and now havent had any ringing since.. another small victory in this. You have to keep focused on your goal of regaining your health.. again, you're lucky you dicovered a ROOT CAUSE to your symptoms instead of just slapping a band-aid on it like so many Dr's would do... STudy the archives; print them out if you can copy/paste into a word program; then come back and ask more questions... so many initial questions are in the archives! Take care and we are pulling for you! DA >
Guest guest
Welcome to the group. There is a lot of info and help here, but most importantly there are people who really do understand what you are going through. Also, there are people at every stage of the process... so we all have peers and mentors, as it were. You are quite lucky to have a doctor who will diagnose and treat the root problem. But I second the caution to double-check his/her protocol against Andy's recommendations. cheers
Guest guest
--- Hi there I am new here too and also feeling scared. I am about to start chelation after having the last of my amalgams out last week. YAY! This group really seems to be very knowledgable and helpful.
