Guest guest
: " If the fluid retention started after starting the licorice, then I would consider stopping the licorice to see if it resolves. " It did start around the time of licorice. I just didn't connect it until now, because that is also about the time I started iodine. Well, I quit the iodine some time ago, and the fluid retention hasn't gone away. This morning I was awfully fatigued again with no stress tolerance and on the verge of tears for now reason. I took a glandular, and within 45 min. my mood was so much better and I had some energy all day. It just makes me feel a little anxious (probably the adrenaline). When the HC comes, I won't use the glandulars, because of the anxiety. In the meantime, it looks like 1 a day might get me through! :-) Thanks, Olif

Well, I quit the iodine some time ago, and the fluid retention hasn't gone away. Another thing about licorice. I sometimes got really wild, sudden bouts of anxiety after taking it. I think this is due to liver phase 1 issues - when I avoided exposures to things that caused phase 1 issues for me, the licorice was fine. Do you have a fast phase 1? I'm wondering if some of your hyper symptoms could have been related to the licorice vs the iodine? For me, this effect of the licorice was really obvious because it was a large and sudden effect a short time after taking licorice. Might not always be so easy to tie to the licorice, though - could be more delayed or sporadic, I suppose. > This morning I was awfully fatigued again with no stress tolerance and on the verge of tears for now reason. Don't know whether that will help as much with stress tolerance. Maybe what you are doing is good enough until you get HC... -- > Thanks, > Olif > >
