Guest guest
hey I was at the ER too!!! there goes our connection again - LOL sorry not funny i know - so sorry to hear! hope you heal soon so you can get relief from the hernia - slow and steady I have an irregular heartbeat now and that plus my low BP AND light-headedness - made doc send me to the ER -I was in the city but didn't want to be stuck there w/o my scd food so I waited till the light-headedness stopped and drove to the ER closest to home where they did NOTHING but an IV and sent me on my way unconcerned - good news I suppose, but absurd!! didn't even see a cardiologist!!! - seeing one thurs for follow-up - never a dull moment! 1 of my kids asked if i was going to die?! this is no way for them to grow up! I can't wait to be so healthy from head to toe and just living scd - not thinking about health constantly eileen 18 months scd > > ARGH.. > > Was in the ER all night.. > Between the incisional hernia and eating bad yogurt, I got really sick. > I seem to never learn when it comes to probiotics or yogurt when I have a question if it is ok or not. I wish it would just self destruct like a mission impossible or something and disintegrate so I wouldn't feel bad that I am being wasteful. LOL. > > Anyway, I need to have surgery in a couple of months on the hernia. As long as it doesn't bother me too much it is best to wait for the original surgery to heal before they go in and take care of this. > > Jodi >
Guest guest
I can't wait to be so healthy from head to toe and just living scd - not thinking about health constantlyThat makes two of us! Actually, probably closer to 200 of us, but who's counting? =) I can imagine 5 years from now we'll all be in perfect health, well established in our SCD routine eating all the legal foods, and people will say, "Oh my goodness, I can't believe you can't eat ____!" And we'll just be like, "You have no idea!" I can't see myself missing any illegal foods at all at that point! And even better, we will all confound our doctors....hehe =) Can't wait! Guest guest
Eileen, So sorry about this. You wouldn't want to go to an ER in the City anyway.. I mean obviously if you have to.. It's just a zoo! I have been to a couple of them here.. I have been to ER's outside of the City and I must say far more organized. Even in Israel they were far more together. You know, I have very low BP too and sometimes it gets so low it freaks docs/staff out. It would be interesting to see what you find out about this. You get enough Salt (good quality) and Potassium in your diet? Selenium would also be good for your thyroid- my thyroid really started changing when I used the drops from Body Bio- I can't stand the Elyte drink on a regular basis so I got the Body Bio drops. Guest guest
Hope you're feeling better soon, Jodi! Kelley W. > > Hey Alyssa.. > > Thanks for the well wishes.. > Truthfully though things have gotten a lot better. It's just like the surgeon said to me I wasn't a healthy person going into surgery and it is just taking me a while to heal. I just need to be careful. I think I kind of wore myself out last week as mu husband was out of town so I did a lot of stuff on my own (first week I was on my own post surgery) and I guess I pushed myself too much and the yogurt just put me over the edge. I needed IV pain killers and anti nausea medication (I couldn't stop puking) > > Jodi >
