Guest guest
Thanks Terry! Super helpful. I was given Clinda because I had really bad infected/impacted wisdom teeth. Pus pockets formed over the wisdom teeth. A mess. I was given Clinda even though I got so incrdibly sick- to the point I only ate sponge cake and pudding " to line my stomach " so I could take the clinda and pain killers. This after a month ultimately gave me C Diff which caused major internal blood loss (they still don't know what from as I didn't bleed out) and I have never been the same since. I was hospitalized for a month. What a nightmare. Recently, my chiropractor introduced me to his patient that is a dentist to tell him not to prescribe Clinda to IBS/IBD patients. This dentist told me he never heard anything about this and he won't prescribe it unless it's a necessity. I wish this would be a medical directive from some health org. Way before SCD. Actually I got the book after this nightmare and I tried the diet but skipped intro and jumped straight into almond flour so I was like " ehh.. another quack diet " I felt so stupid when I first stated the diet (I SKIPPPED INTRO AGAIN- 2nd time around! that's why I don't even count those couple of months having been on the diet) anyway, as I have hung online I realize a bunch of people make this mistake entering the diet- skipping intro. Some of us -must- do intro, others seem ok to bypass the whole stage. I just wish this concept of intro was outlined more clearly. Why I originally did not go online is beyond me!?!? Makes no sense since I have been addicted to my computer like all the way back in utero. Boy, would my life of been different! I'm here now though, and boy did I work and persevere through the hard times.. so I have way much to be thankful for. Jodi
