Guest guest
I have a 3.5 year old who is seeing both a neurologist and nutritionist for a variety of issues. She is now an a gluten free, casein free, corn free, soy free, fermented foods free, mushroom free, egg free, peanut (and most other nut) free, very low sugar, low salycilate, and banana is the only fruit diet due to leaky gut syndrome and various food intolerances. I am waiting for the blood results to come back but expect they will show she has serious yeast problems as well. The SCD diet was recommended to me by the nutritionist as a place to turn for help. Does anyone have experience with making this work for small children? How can I do the vast amount of cooking required while still giving my kids the attention they need? What do I do when she ends up spitting out most of the healthy stuff and will selectivly put herself on the least healthy, yet still allowable stuff like coconut pancakes? I bought a food dehydrator, juice machine, bread machine, and all sorts of other devices that are supposed to make this work, but have yet to find a recipe that satisfies all her intolerances and is palatable to her. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
