Guest guest Posted November 27, 2012 Report Share Posted November 27, 2012 Autism HearingOn November 29, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, chaired by Darryl Issa (R-CA), will hold a hearing entitled "1 in 88 Children: A Look into the Federal Response to Rising Rates of Autism." The hearing will "address the federal response to the recent rise in ASD diagnoses, as well as the allocation of government resources for ASD. It will also review research and treatment options for those diagnosed with ASDs." Current witnesses include representatives from the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control, Safe Minds, ASAN, ASA, and Autism Speaks.
