Guest guest
I was wondering if any of you have been diagnosed with IgA deficiency or if any of you have problems with ? I have IgA deficiency and wondering what role this may play in the PSC. I haven't been able to find much on the internet about IgA deficiency other then it's not that uncommon; however, most people do not have symptoms. My daughter has this disorder also and has symptoms which is why they tested me. This problem can cause gastrointestinal and kidney problems, which is why I think it might be a factor in the PSC; however, I forgot to ask the hepatologist about this yesterday. I plan on doing so when we go over my test results next week. I am currently being tested for absorptions problems. The new Hepatologist that I saw yesterday said he wanted to test several of my antibody levels, one of which was Ceruloplasmin, which from what I can see is looking at cooper. Any input would be appricated. Dawn
