Hi, I've known that I've had this all my life... I thought everyone had that little bump. My dad felt the back of my head and he asked if I had banged my head on something because of the bump and I told him that I had always had that. We asked the neurosurgeon I was seeing at the time for consults about it. He said that it was a protrudent of the occipital ridge and that not everyone who had it has chiari and not all persons with chiari will have the bump, but that a surprising number of his chiari patients had the protrudence. It might make for an interesting poll. Funnily enough, so have my chiari symptoms!
