Guest guest
Gretchen, I don't know what to tell you. I know the pain can be tough and if he's not willing to give you pain meds then you might need to find another doctor! Try taking tyenol PM at night that would help there. Are you taking Lyrica? That helps with the nerve pain. But, I would look into seeing another doctor! Life is too short to have to deal with A**H**** like that! Debra B Gladewater, Texas Dr's are A**holes! Hi I know I haven't posted in a while.. Have had 1 good day in the past 3 weeks! Have taken a lot of Vicodin, and now the dr. says I am taking too many and won't prescribe anymore! He said to take 1 or 2 every 4hrs as needed, and I did that.. not even every 4 hrs more like every 6.. and says he won't refill them ever again! What an ass! Don't know what to do.. I know he has probably talked to my Rhemey and told him not to prescribe them either {there friends} He only gave me 30 of them and I went through them in less than a week! I know its alot, but when your in pain and you have the means, you take what makes you feel better... Don't what I'm going to do. any ideas about what else might help! FYI~~ Baths don't help and advil and tylenol are junk... any I ideas? Feedback appriciated! Gretchen ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ You rock. Guest guest
Have you ever tried tramadol(Ultram)? Many say it doesn't work for them, but they also don't know you can take 100 mg. at a time, and up to 6 pills a day. When combined with the Tylenol or Advil, it can help. How about muscle relaxers? They help me, expecially at night. Good luck and hope you find the answer soon. Jeanne in WI Hi I know I haven't posted in a while.. Have had 1 good day in the past 3 weeks! Guest guest
> Hi.. sorry not to get back to you in a few days.. trying to live and having fatigue don't mix! I just get so mad! But, anyway, Yes, have tried Tramadol, Ultram. I started taking it about 2 years ago after a car accident, and less than 48 hrs later had a seizure {never had one before} and passed out, threw up all over my self, the dr. thinks it was the Tramadol, and advised me not to take it anymore... Of Course, I said " NO PROBLEM! " .... Hugs, Gretchen > Have you ever tried tramadol(Ultram)? Guest guest
Gretchen - I don't take pain medication and I can't stand for more than fifteen minutes at time without pain unless I take my Lyrica which helps with pain, Effexor which is for depression but has a pain reliever in it too and Silver and Vemma which are to homeopathic remedies that do work. I believe they work better than the meds. I posted info when i first joined but don't want to push something on someone that isn't interested. I am just glad to be here and have a place to feel like I can vent and feel at home. Bless you and I hope your pain decreases because we all know it doesn't ever go away. Guest guest
I forgot to mention the fog is almost gone. I am taking online college classes and making 98% averages. You can't do that if you are in a fog. I am not in a wheelchair but my desk chair has wheels on it. LOL. Guest guest
Sounds like you have a pinched nerve somewhere that is causing this. I have herniated disc in my back and I wake up like that sometimes during the night and even have them during the day.
