Guest guest
Nina, I haven't had kidney stones, but I have had about 4 severe kidney infections in the last year. I never get any symptoms, just all of the sudden burning and blood in urine. I've been lucky not to have kidney stones. I remember shortly after my fiance and I moved in together and I was out back mowing the lawn. He was in the shower upstairs with the window open. I turned the mower off and hears him screaming! I thought he'd fallen and broke something so I ran upstairs. There he was in all his glory in the shower holding out his hand. I asked him wtf the screaming was about and he showed me the stone. I laugh to this day that he was standing in the shower peeing in hs hand...lmao! But I know they are severely painful. I have a good friend that has been on dialysis for almost 10 years. She's had kidney problems since she was a kid. Hopefully she will be getting a transplant soon. She goes tot he Mayo Clininc in sdale, AZ next week for testing. --------------------------------- You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost. Guest guest
I get a-symptomatic UTIs that progress into kidney infections bfeore i feel anything then suddenly i have a 104 temp(and i have a 97.2 temp on a regular, daily, basis. all the time.. so at 104 i wanna dieeeeee)..... so yea. i hear you there.. Im glad he managed to get it out quickly. Alot of times they bounce around and crawl their way out. this ones been trying to pass for about two days, and hubbys on travel for work so im home with three kids. yea, a hurricanes hit my house by the looks of it. Lol. Its more common for men to get them than women but im one gal that makes them on a regular basis.. Something about how my body absorbs calcium. I always wonder if its connected to our familys genetic tenency towards very early osteoperosis... My mom was diagnosed osteoperotic at like 45 or something.. has it in her spine.. .. and my stones are calcium based.. most are so thats not uncommon but.. just wonder. But yea they hurt. My 5yo popped me in the kidney yesterday on accident and i literally blacked out. Thankfully my mom was around, i wasnt at home by myself or anything.. and i have a very high pain tolerance so when i black out from pain.. not usually good. anyways im rambling now, id just been wondering if many of us got this. Just a curiosity type thing. > Nina, > > I haven't had kidney stones, but I have had about 4 severe kidney > infections in the last year.
