Guest guest
The YWCA where I live claims it's 87 degree pool is therapeutic, but it feels cold to me. So what temp is therapeutic? am I just really off with my temp receptors? Also they put so much chlorine in there it triggers my Asthma. Any ideas anyone? > > > > OMG I am dying today. Guest guest
The Y here told me there's is not theraputic - I heard anything over 87 is - but 83 was cold to me last night. I have no thermastat anymore and I wonder sometimes if it is the diabetes or the fibro. No one else was cold last night - my friend was not cold - but I was chattering and had goose bumps hugs wenzdai wenzdai@...> wrote: The YWCA where I live claims it's 87 degree pool is therapeutic, but it feels cold to me. Guest guest
You know, that was one reason why I hadn't checked out the place that does therapeutic water aerobics - because of the chlorine. I know that if I get a whiff of bleach it sets off my asthma so I can only imagine what being in a heavily-chlorinated pool would be like! My folks have an outside pool and in another month or so it will be warm enough for me to swim. Granted I won't be able to " fly " like I could before fibro, but if it gives me the exercise while helping me stretch my muscles in a non-threatening way, well, I'm going for it! Now to find a swimsuit that fits! Darlene > The YWCA where I live claims it's 87 degree pool is therapeutic, but it feels cold to me.
