Guest guest
I get that in my thighs right after working out...don't know why. I have heard that it is a symptom of fibro or can be a side effect of some meds. Look up your meds and see if they could be it. Also, B12 and magnesuim deficiancies can do this. Do you have any around you could take to see if it helps? If it's really bad, I would call your Dr. Also, I'm sure you know to take a muscle relaxant if you have any.........Please keep us posted on what's going on...... Jill Please, I'd love some input Hi all, Yesterday I overdid it, even went for a walk for " exercise " well this morning I could barely get out of bed for the pain. I wound up calling in sick at work. My muscles all over are just taking turns just kind of jerking all over. Has anyone else experienced this??? It is rather disconcerting. I'm forcing myself to stay in bed and just rest. My leg pain is unbearable so I just took a half a vicodin and I'm gonna try to take a nap...will check back later. Hope the rest of you have a good day. Love, /Mi

Guest guest
Whenever we go on vacation to Monterey, I can go out and about with my walker one day, but the next day I am in bed all day. It's just all part of the fibro. It's just > all part of the > fibro. I hear ya, Debi. I worked in my garden for several hours on two days this week (Mon and Wed). It was wonderful. On Wed. I had really severe joint pain, like I was afraid the Voltaren that I've switched to wasn't working. By Wed. night it was a full-fledged fibro flare. Yesterday I wanted so badly to go out and dig in the dirt, but was really disciplined and took the day off. Meaning I did laundry and extensive food prep, and even ran the vacuum to get up all that black kitty hair that my new kitty has left all over the place. By last night I was really tired. But today my joints don't hurt like they did 2 days ago. I definitely feel better. But I think I will take today off too from yard work. It's too bad because it's going to be in the 70's and the sky is already blue and the sun is shining and it's only 6:30. The pollen count is off the wall and I wouldn't be surprised if that's part of the reason for both the arthritis flare and the fibro flare. Oh well, if I run out of things to do I can always clean my kitchen cupboards. :::: sigh :::: Z
Guest guest
walking with a pulse of 120 will give you an 8hr endorphin pain killer rush the next 24 hrs are hell they you will back to normal. Love, /Mi ------------------------------------ 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone.
