Guest guest
Hubby let me use the fashion bug gift card he got me for Christmas a bit early. I went shopping today. Today was the last day of their b1g1 free sale. :-) I got a cute pin-striped outfit, a pair of jeans, a pair of shoes, a belt, and a pair of jeans. I also have an old navy card and a kohls card for christmas. Can't wait to use those. :-) I love shopping these days! I have a ton of clothes I need to put on eBay! Guest guest
I can't wait for the day when I can shop in a 'normal' size shop or section. That's what I'm looking forward too. I keep telling myself in Kmart and Wal-mart that one of these days I'll be shopping in the front, not in the back where they hide the fat lady clothes. Guest guest
I'm still able to be an angry Dutchman and complain about regular size clothing being too expensive or asking my teenage, mall crazy daughter if it's a good value. It's funny to be in Walmart or Meijer finding slacks on sale for $15 and asking her if that's a good deal. I usually get, " Dad, do you know how much ONE pair of pants costs me from American Eagle? " I get the impression that the $15 is closer to the sales tax on those. Of course she's mortified that I'm wearing that clothing but come on I'm a guy wearing khaki, olive, or navy chinos. I'm not looking to attract attention with my clothing labels. Mike in GR > > I can't wait for the day when I can shop in a 'normal' size shop or section. > That's what I'm looking forward too. Guest guest
Hi Mike, I definitely understand where you are coming from there and that is definitely more my speed. I have never let labels make my clothing decisions for me. Back in the 1980's when my friends were wearing Jordache, I was wearing Levi's and Wranglers and still prefer those kinds of jeans to anything else. Lin 422-338-250 Lhsh@...
