Guest guest
Ethel, You are making me nervous. My hearing is next week and basically it comes down to how well I advocate for myself. I do better advocating for others. It is wonderful that he finally got it. Did he reaply or do appeals. The clock atRTS FROM THE APPLICATION DATE. iF HE STARTED AGAIN THAT WOULD PROBLAbly (Sorry hit cap lock) start the clock at the new date even though he has been out of work all that time. I know in RI you can't count the time that you collect TDI because they consider it double dipping even though you paywd into both. Makes no sence. Guest guest
No his lawyer kept appealing , reason they only went back to 2007 ,was his age, they were saying he was to young ,yeah right ! (that`s what his attorney told him , the idea is if you don`t get approved you will go away after 3 appeals don`t and didn`t give up , i have been fighting 4 years now , and am just starting to get some where , cause i keep calling and going in to nearest office and bugging them , KEEP FIGTHING ! see they are trying to keep us from getting ssd ,cause the baby boomers are going to cash in , early ! so the government is trying to save money that was used other ways ,for them ,me i`m 62 (63) in june , i just keep going back and saving the little number paper they give you , for your problem , and make who ever i talk to or give info to , sign the back of the number slip and say what info i gave them , you have fought this far , get yourself together even if you have to take a Zanax and FIGHT for YOU , you have the right to take one other person along who sees what you go through everyday , Ethel Behold the turtle , he who makes slow progress wins the race !
