Guest guest
Hi and welcome to the group.. nice to meet you.. I am here in support and to learn from those whom have this illnesses. Take care.. maria New Member Hi Everyone Hi everyone. I am new here. My nme is Shell. I am a 36 year old married mother of three Daughters (16,14,12). I was diagnosised with Fibro in 1999 after an auto accident. I have had symptoms since I was a teen but didn't become " full blown " until after the accident. I was a medical professional but shortly after diagnosis I was told it was no longer safe for me or those I would be working on. I spent a while in a massive depression because I loved my job. I went through the SSA process and after sitting before the Judge I was told he didn't understand whythey had denied me three times before seeing him. 4 different drs including theirs said I would never be able to work again. I am positive in all 18 tender points and have othe of the medical issues that go along with Fibro. I currently see one of the Best Pain Drs (in my opinion) in IL. He has helped me tolerate the pain that once left me stuck in bed. I believe I have tried just about every medication you can to get relief and get trigger point injections bi monthly in the summer and every month in the winter.I have a very positive attitude because I have found my illness effects my children so Itry and be as happy as I can. One of my daughters is showing early signs of Fibro and I try and help her attain her goals and teach her ways to cope I have a very supportive husband and family. So that is me. If anyone ever needs someone to talk to feel free to message me. Thanks- SHell
Guest guest
Welcome Shell. My 14 yr. old daughter was diagnosed with FM at the age of 10. I myself have been diagnosed for 10 years, but had symptoms as a child as well. Gotta keep this short for now. Take care. Jeanne in WI Hi everyone. I am new here. My nme is Shell.
