Guest guest
Wow, Debra, that sounds awesome...let us know!! /Mi a new job-- for state with benefits I have had a job offer. I am considering taking it. It would be for what they call the State School. It is a large campus home for the mentally challenged. Some other nurses I know wanted me to apply for an open postion. It comes with full benefits with Blue Cross/Blue Shield -- no premiums out of pocket to cover me. Tons of paid time off. Retirement that is vested after 10 years. And a raise to boot from what I make now. I told them NO " on call " . The supervisor told me the position I apply for does not require me to take " call " . So good. I hate to leave where I am but there is no future in it. Just thought I would share my thoughts. love and hugs, Debra V. __________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Guest guest
Congradulations Debra! That state job sounds like a good one so hope you accept their offer. We have BlueCross/BlueShield also with no out of pocket premiums either. But I do have to pay some of my lab work though. Let us know if you accept that great sounding job. soft hugs, Debbie L > > I have had a job offer. I am considering taking it. It would be for what they call the State School. Guest guest
Debra, it sounds like a dream job. I would go for it, if I were you. You need every bit of help and perks that you can get. I'm very happy for you. Love you, Debi/CA **************Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos. Guest guest
Great news! Especially with you not having out-of-pocket premiums. I'd hate to think where we'd be if we didn't have such good insurance now. Before, my co-pays alone were running into the thousands each year. Now I don't have a co-pay. ~Earthdog~
Guest guest
Debra, that is wonderful! I know that the insurance that we have with the Blues has been great -- strange, though since my husband is a state employee, our benefits can change from year to year depending on what the union he is a member of! Seems that presently we do not have a CO-PAY for any dental work (not that that is going to get me go back! --- I got tried of listening to them tell me how to brush! and the 4 times a year for a cleaning!) > > I have had a job offer. Guest guest
Debra - This sounds like a prayer answered! Of course, I do not know how the actual work load would compare to what you do now. But those benefits are an answer to prayer. Go for it! Jeanne in WI I have had a job offer. I am considering taking it. It would be for what they call the State School.
