Guest guest
This has to be a tough time for all of us WLS people. I actually made it through Thanksgiving and lost 1 1/2 pounds. I'm on a small plateau right now, so if something don't get moving soon, I may not fair through Christmas like I did Thanksgiving. My husband is the baker in the family and I have told him to bake away it doesn't bother me. I like sweets, but they weren't my downfall, it was the salty crunchy things that made me the fatty that I was. I have tried a cookie, and believe me, one is all I want, they are just TOOOOOOO sweet now after surgery. I have never dumped on sweets though. I would have done the same thing though, accepted the cookies, said thank you and then offer them to the party folks. Guest guest
Yeah some horse's ass at work left a 1/2 lb chocolate bar on everyone's desk at work Friday. I got rid of mine by brining it over to a potluck at another building. Lord give me strength. I've gotten to the point where I can't in good conscious give this crap to my kids, my parents, the woman I'm dating, her kids or really any relatives. My neighbors are pretty skinny though so time to fatten them up. I could also give some to my renters. Maybe they'd like that as I raise their rent? hehe. Guest guest
Nothing has really tempted me. I had two bits of regular cheesecake last night and that was all I could stand. It was good, but too sweet. My mom made a sugar free cheesecake parfait with pineapple in it and it was really good and it really satisfied my sweet tooth. Lin 422-338-250 Lhsh@... Guest guest
in CA, Good job! I hate like a pig yesterday, but I am back on track today. When I say that I ate like a pig, don't get me wrong...it is post WLS " eating like a pig " meaning I had more portions than do normally...also went heavy on some of the bad carbs but oh welll, all is not lost! Well, at least sixty pounds are lost! lisamathis
