For the last couple of years, I can't remember a time when I

haven't had pain somewhere in my body daily. Until this last

week and a half. I have finally been totally free of pain and

happy. I now remember what it is like to be feeling good and

pain free. The only difference in my life is that I started

the South Beach Diet almost 2 weeks ago. So I'm wondering if

there is a connection between bad foods and fibro. I no longer

eat sugar and I have had no carbs in the phase 1 portion of the

diet. Next week I will add in healthy carbs and fruit. But I

can't tell you how good I feel right now. I'm wondering if anyone

else on this list is on SBD and if they have seen a reduction

in Fibro symptoms?

Hi Cheryl - Many professionals recommend a high protein/low carb diet for FM.

I'm glad it is working for you. I'm a carbaholic.

I know it doesn't help me, but the willpower to do what is right just isn't

there most of the time. Take care.

I eat SB wraps for lunch and SB cereal bars as am snacks. But still am

most a crabaholic, also. Enjoy my wheat pretzels and home-made bread

from my machine.
