Guest guest
Hi, I've been having extreme pain in my left ankle and calf lately. I've gone to a podiatrist and he gave me an injection of cortisone which helped some, but he actually thought it may be fibro related. Also, he wants me to wear shoes, all the time. Ugh...somebody else on hear said they are barefoot babes too. I hate shoes...especially in the summer. My left leg has always been worse than my right. This ankle leg thing, has really gotten me down. I'm having a time chasing my 2 year old at work and by the time I get home I'm ready for a Vicodin. There are nights I'd like to just chew it off!!!!!!!! Oh, we have a family of baby foxes living under the old barn in our yard...they are adorable. Maybe I could have one of them eat my leg off...LOL.... /Mi
Guest guest
, does the pain mostly occur when you are sitting down or trying to relax? If so, that is restless leg syndrome and they do have meds out for that. Otherwise, try Hyland's Leg Cramp pills, they work wonders for me. Guest guest
Hi , I too get really bad ankle and calf pain. The pain in my calf is mainly up the outside of my leg. It was among the first pain symptoms I developed with fibro. It's really limiting and hurts like the devil. I'm sorry that you get it too. I am a barefooter too. I had to start wearing shoes - ones that are good for my feet not just any shoes - because of my hip pain. I guess it's been about 3 years that I've worn shoes in the house. I still hate to do it and now that its getting warm, I'm cheating some - like right now. It really helps my hips, but I still get the ankle/calf pain. Hope yours gets better with shoes. The foxes sound adorable. Marti uniceander Lander2004@...> wrote: Hi, I've been having extreme pain in my left ankle and calf lately. Guest guest
HI Marti, I was in a hurry and just went shopping yesterday in moccasins, (my summer shoe of choice, like going barefoot!) I went to 3 stores and I almost left my grocery cart in the store and left. My ankle and calf hurt so badly I wanted to just sit down and cry. I did make it home and hubby carried it all in and helped me put it away. I have to dig through my closet and look for some tennies that I never wear!!! Have a good Sunday. Love, /Mi Re: lower leg pain...fibro or something else???? Hi , I too get really bad ankle and calf pain. The pain in my calf is mainly up the outside of my leg.
