Guest guest
YMMV = your mileage may vary I'm sorry to hear about your IBS-D being so bad. That is the pits. Yes, stress is a huge trigger for the IBS. You are probably a big bundle of nerves over your finances and future, so your colon reacts accordingly. I hope you get some answers and stress relief soon. Take care. Jeanne in WI Hi Jeanne, First I'll show my ignorance. What is YMMV? I have been having a bad flare with my IBS and the big D for a longer period than usual for me. It is really limiting my leaving the house and I don't leave much anyway. I stay away from lactose and roughage like I have for years. I stay away from junk food and fast food. But it's gotten where I can't eat unless I'm home. I mean eat almost anything. I'm under a lot of stress with money problems in addition to health issues. I can't remember if it's still believed that stress is a trigger for IBS or not. Is it?
