Guest guest
(((Debra)))) Glad you have made that decision! I know you are on the lyrica and also take hydrocodone, could you need a muscle relaxer too? Because it sounds like you were having muscle spasms. I used to take flexeril but was graduated to robaxin...lolol... (((Hugs))) Darlene > > Hey group. Just to say good morning and that I am WAY behind on posts. So sorry I am " out of the loop " so to speak. LOL. I have to get ready for work today. I went for a kind of interview yesterday for the state job. The people were very nice and wanted to welcome me to the family already. LOL. I guess I will take the job. I got the application done and turned it in and met my soon to be new boss. They seem to want me over there for some reason.... (oh, a little spooky) LOL. I will sure miss the staff and the people at the nursing home though. It will be very emotional leaving. But I need the benefits the state can give me. > > Anyway, I am having a few good moments or hours right now. I don't know how long it will last. I tell ya, last night at work I would hurt so damn bad in my lower back that it would go down my legs. Also the knees and the right shoulder. Strange thing is, it would almost stop for a while, then the pain would come back with a vengeance at the drop of a hat. Hell, no wonder people think I am a hypochondriac. It comes and goes at will. This illness makes no sense. > Just to say how important this group is to me. I suppose I will be on this site for as long as I have a computer and my hands will work. > Love and hugs to all of you, > Hope you have a day as good as can be, > Debra V. > > > ______________________________________________________________________ ______________ > Be a better friend, newshound, and > know-it-all with Yahoo! If it hadn't have been for you, I don't think that I would have gotten through that awful flare last summer, when we had the horrendous fires going on. I pray, that if you want the state job, that you get it and that you will be able to hold onto it. I love you, Debi/55-CA **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Guest guest
As a reminder, especially to anyone whose hands bug them sufficiently that it hurts to type - they DO have software programs and the technology now so you can talk type - that would enable you (or any of us if it came to it) to stay here! Guest guest
Speech Recognition Software is becoming standard, Macintosh had it built into their OS software early on and I used to get kicks (Simple things for simple minds) out of typing text, and hitting the playback button to hear the computer speak it back. You could literally type anything, some words had to be typed in a phonics manner to get the computer to say it correctly, even naughty words.
