L,

Do we have to consider the pen pal portion? I have enough groups,

keeping track of a huge list of people isn't easy. You would not

believe the number of friends and family in my email address book, and

we won't get into the number of groups I am part of. They're lucky to

hear from me once a month, LOL.

PenPaling is optional depending on if you have the time, and can

tolerate the writing/keyboarding.

I'm going to participate mainly to keep the motor skills in my hands

functioning, and it is becoming a lost art being replaced by the

computer word processor.

People can write something as simple as a wisenheimer:

" Just thought I'd drop you a line "

and draw a line straight down the page.

LOL, , that's funny. If you had any idea how hard it is for me

to write remotely legible words, you'd know why I type everything.

I got a degree in computer aided drafting now sixteen years ago. The

only skills I use from that learning process is the creation of block

letters, for which I am so blessed to have such knowledge as my

handwriting started out atrocious as a southpaw taught by right-

handers and hasn't improved even the slightest amount. It's sad when

your ten year old has better handwriting than you do. Oh, and he too

is a left-hander, or southpaw as some call it.

I was told once I had the handwriting of a myopic physician or a con

artist. I have to laugh at the comparison. This considering I'm a

writer and minister by profession.
