Guest guest
Kristi, I have read the same crap. It is not true in my case or anyone's case almost that I have talked to. I will tell you right now that this crap IS progressive no matter what they say. It started with me in my 20's. I am now 44. It did not progress to the point that I knew anything was wrong until I l hit the age of about 39 or 40. It started in my younger years with just being " tired " all the time. I even went to doctors with this and they just told me to " exercise more " when my bloodwork came back normal. I also experienced the " fibro fog " in my early 20's. I just accepted the fact that I required 12 hours of sleep a night to feel " good " . The " tired " turned to pure exhaustion that is chronic as the years passed. Also the numbness and tingling in my fingers started in my late 20's. I thought it was carpal tunnel. It was not. I would find this out with my first fibro flare from hell at the age of about 39 when my hands went from numbness and tingling to burning hell. (I then decided to get the " carpal tunnel syndrome " taken care of and found out it was never carpal tunnel). From that flare at 39 until today this $hit has gotten worse and worse. The new symptoms set in during the " flare from Hell " as I call it. I also got pain in my knees, all over body aches like the flu, weakness, and felt as if I was dying. To this day, I have been living with the beast everyday of my life to some degree. It will flare often but I will have a few good hours just now and then. I still go to work with the curse. So.... they are full of $hit when they say it does not get worse. They have not come far enough in research to even pin point what the crap really is. And I will tell you it has gone 10 fold on me the last 5 years. Sorry to ramble and send such a depressing letter. Perhaps everyone's has not gotten worse, but mine HAS. Love and hugs, Debra V. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
