Congratulations !!!! Two pounds is two pounds less :-) and also getting

and keeping your blood sugar down. WOW!!!!!

I hope that the new combination of meds will also get your pain level down to

a " manageable " level.

Good afternoon everyone - hope you are all having the best day you can

have.

I am happy today. I had my regular 6 week doctor's apt and I lost another 2 lbs.

That's 42 pounds all together. Two pounds isn't much in 6 weeks but heck, I had

my birthday, Easter and Admin Day here at work so I'll take it! I thought I was

going to gain so I'm very happy.

Some of you know I was recently diagnosed Type II Diabetes. Very early stage -

only one blood test over 100 and it was 108. Since then (last November) I have

been on low carbs, trying to ride my stationary bike 10 mins a day - sometimes I

make it, sometimes I do not. I also discovered that the pain in my feet/legs are

diabetic neuropathy that actually preceeded the elevated glucose.

I am thankful I have a very proactive doctor who started me on Provastatin and

Metforum right away and my sugar leves have been good as has my cholesterol and

all that good stuff!

Anyway - we decided to go back to the Cymbalta as the pain relieve was quite

noticeable. When I switched to Celexa, all the pain in my shoulders and upper

back returned. He is wating for my next 6 week apt to see if we should increase

the Lyrica. He gave me the mail in cripts for all my medication. I mailed them

in this afternoon - SIX of them not counting the Lyrica (which is already on

mail in) or the over the counter supplements.

Yesterday was a bad day pain wise, today it's better. At least on the Cymbalta I

can go back to the Tramadol during the day. My druggest scared me and I haven't

taken it at all with the Celexa!

Thanks for reading if you got this far LOL - just wanted to share my two pound

victory :)

gentle hugs
