I'm not exactly sure if it will be helpful or not, because of the Chiari. I'm still trying to figure out if my postural dizziness is from BPPV or Chiari or both or from the POTS. It's really hard to pin point dizziness. I say you should go for it and see if they can get a clearer picture. BTW, about the eye connection, your opthamologist is right to a point. Vision is important for balance. If you have the eye jerking and bouncing vision (oscopillia) or if your eye muscles are tired, you will get it dizzy, but it all goes back to the Chiari.
