Guest guest
Hi Cassandra - Yes, my sense of smell is hypersensitive as well. It can be a good thing when the smells are nice. This morning I had the smell of cat poo wafting under the bedroom door. Oh joy. We have 3 cats and I'd really like to cut that number back. Have you tried using some bleach in the garbage disposal? Also, I believe there are some specific cleaners made for the disposal, just check the cleaning supply isle at the store. Good luck. Jeanne in WI I think I am more sensative to stench than I used to be. Anyone else? My favorite method for getting the in-sink garbage disposal to smell OK is to cut up a couple lemons and let it grind them up. But with the pric of food up so high I just can't justify spending $6 on lemons for the garbage disposal when I could feed two people a thrifty meal for that much. Coffee grounds help (every morning) but only fora few hours, then the smell is back. Baking soda does nothing. Any ideas? Cassandra
Guest guest
:Hi, Yes, I think I can smell more. I was always that way, especially when I was pregnant. But I notice it again. I can smell my pills as soon as I open them. Plus working at Wal Mart i can smell the people. Sometimes a very gross thing. A suggestion for the disposal. What if you put in a little liquid lemon evry time you used it. Or even a little lemon bleach once in a while. But do it while grinding the normal stuff. Another thing I smell and my family thinks I'm nuts. I make them shut the bathroom doors at night because i swear i can smell the 2000 flushes stuff in my room. Hope that helps.
