What do we do about Horse Stench?

So, how do we get rid of Horse Stench, without getting rid of the horses or

closing the

windows?

Is the stench coming from the horses themselfs, or from the manure?

I offer you two possibilities.

1) find yourself a strapping lad or lass to shovel all that manure far far away

from your

window, downwind, every day.

2) If it the horses themselfs that stink, well, it's bathtime. A breeder friend

of mine uses

Avon Skin So Soft shampoo to bathe all her horses. She say the product is mild,

moisturizes the horses skin, pleasant smell and somewhat discourages the flys.

Not being really horsey myself this is an amatures best attempt at horse sence.

Gosh....horses don't stink! I love the smell of my horses! They should not

stink, so if they

do there is a problem. It might be their diet. Make sure you are giving them a

quality feed

& manure management is a very important factor.
