Guest guest Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 What a mess. I was going to see the surgeon today and I was already on the road and got a phone call, they needed to cnx. My husband took off from work to go with me and now I have to go up on Thursday by myself. He just cannot take another day off. I understand the doc is busy they said an emergency came up. He is head of the surgery department so he probably had an emergency surgery pop up but it is still a pain. I hate the idea of making a 2 1/2 hour trip by myself. Guest guest Posted May 7, 2008 Report Share Posted May 7, 2008 I have. My sister gave me several books on tape. It just drove me crazy. I can't explain why. I do read a LOT. My husband laughs at the way I can go thru books. My problem is that it has gotten so it is painfull to drive long distance. It was a little hard to get used to but once I found one of my favorite series on CD at the library it was great! I read a ton and thought I'd hate it. Go figure!
