I am so sorry to hear of that misery.  YES I understand.  And for alot of us,

tramadol does not cut it.  You probably NEED a stronger pain med if your doctor

will give it to you.  Just know that I am here even though the board is full.  I

hate it when I miss a post like this with someone that needs someone to listen.

See if you can get the doc to give you some Vicodin.  Maybe he will.  Tramadol

works for some of us for a while and then we need something stronger.

hugs,

Debra V.

Hi to all my fellow fibromites! I have been mostly lurking on this

message board trying to learn all I can about my disease. However,

today I need a little encouragement myself so I am turning to you who

know best what I am talking about. I am in so much pain from the waist

down that I can hardly bear it. I am using a walker to get around but

it is still almost more than I can bear. The Tramadol I am taking

doesn't seem to even be knocking the edge off. It is kind of

overwhelming to think that this is mine for a lifetime! I should have

stayed home from work today but sometimes it seems to actually help to

take my mind off the pain. Thanks for listening. Cindi in KC

cINDI--

We all will listen..and feel the pain with you.

I am also sorry that you are going through this..I do wish you

weren't. I wish none of us felt any kind of this 'thing'.!

I agree with Debra..see if your doc will give you something to help.

Whether it is stronger med, or something you can take together with

what you are. I have had to call myself recently to get something

that I can just have when the pain gets too much for what I am taking

now to touch. Even if it is just a " as needed " kind of something.

My legs and hips..seem to be the worse. All of me gets bad too..but

nothing like my legs..

You just post here when you hurt bad, because we will read, and we

will care, even when no one else will.

Soft Hugs..
