Guest guest
My psychiatrist mentioned Vyvance to me. She said 3 wks. ago that so far the FDA had only approved it's use in teens. She thought the approval for adults would be coming soon. So I might be trying it if this Focalin XR doesn't pan out. Are you having any side effects Loretta? Jeanne in WI . I have started on Vyvance, but it's a children's dose and though it seems like it could be effective, I think I need to be on a higher dosage. THen I think I will work on my organizational skills and procrastination... All I know is, it is important to not reuse the brain, I need to schedule down time and give myself extra time to do a task. Loretta
Guest guest
Hello Jeanne! I hope this day finds you relatively well. Well I started taking it the last week of April, and the first day the Vyvance made me feel like I could hyperfocus on things. For example, I was at my DH's band practice and everyone was talking and there was a lot of noise in the room. Usually this makes me confused as to what to focus on, it all sounds like noise. But this day, a fly went past me, and I found myself being able to focus on the sound of the fly's wings, and when my eye caught the fly's flight, it was as if it slowed down because I was able to watch it fly around the room-- like in the matrix or something. It was strange, as if the noise had been turned down. I havent really been able to focus much since though. The only things i notice is maybe a headache toward the end of the day (but not every day), and when it stops working after 12 hours, I feel like sleeping again. Otherwise everything seems to go fine... Loretta > > My psychiatrist mentioned Vyvance to me. She said 3 wks. ago that so far the FDA had only approved it's use in teens.
