Guest guest
Oh how awful. You were shafted. I don't understand why companies do that. You would think they would value the knowledge of employees that have been there for a long time. I guess they are threatened by that knowledge sometimes. I do know ONE thing though . I NEVER want another management job again. I was not cut out for it. I am too soft for one reason. I am not good with confrontation and tend to let people walk on me. Also, the stress is too much. I actually asked to step down from my Assistant Director or Nurses position at the nursing home. I begged them to put me back to work on the floor as a staff nurse. They did. I was so glad. I cannot deal with that kind of stress and those on call hours and stuff. Of course, this disease limits us too. Hugs, Debra V. It took him 3 tries because I knew too much about how the industry " really' operates and was able to dodge 2 attempts. A new operations manager came in to town and during the course of a year trumped up reasons to fire all the office staff and senior supervisors. It didn't make any sense from a business point of view, to sever all of your experienced staff in a years time and inserting people with no experience in those slots. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
