Getting up at 5 am to go sit for 2 hours in a line to get a few gallons of gas. That's why I'm so absolutely furious over this whole thing. We got the wakeup call from OPEC in the 70's, and we wasted 30 friggin years when we could have come up with an alternative to the infernal combustion engine and viable alternatives for home heating and cooling. But did we? Noooooooooooo. High-performance cars and gas-guzzlers came back with a vengeance. Z (SUV's indeed)
