Guest guest
For some there is possibly a jealousy component, but I don't think it is because of meds. I think they think we are seeking attention, and they want the attention themselves. For others, I was reading in Fibro for Dummies last night, they truly do not know what to say to us, so they choose to deny the FM. This is very true for doctors who feel they don't know enough about FM to treat it. They don't know enough about it, so it's easier to say there is no such thing as FM, then fail to treat it properly. Thanks for you efforts in getting out story out. Jeanne in WI Jeanne, thanks for the uplift. You are so wonderful. I never really dread the place I am going to but dread the way I will feel all day sometimes. It seems I have this " friend " at work who does not believe me and I don't think she is a " friend " anymore. Can I ask you a question... this may sound stupid.... but do you think sometimes that people are actaully jealous that we have this damn curse of a disease because they can't get prescription mediations we can???????????????????? I believe that plays a role in some peoples animosity toward us. So, instead of believing that we live in hell most of our lives, they would rather believe we are full of crap. Well. love and hugs, Will look up some more sites to send letter to today about US. Not about just me but about US because I feel the need to get the word out. Debra V.
