Guest guest
Hi Kristi, I hope the increase in the Lyrica helps you. It has me. It does make me very sleepy however. I used to take Darvocet and it did nothing for my pain. So my doctor put me on Vicodin. I don't need it everyday, but it's wonderful to know I have it if I need it. If I know I am going to be having a hard day...gardening, etc., I'll take one beforehand and it seems to handle the pain better. We had one sunny day and tomorrow it's supposed to get rainy again:( Take care! Love, Hydrotherapy and pain meds? Hello, I hope everyone is having a pain-free day. Unfortunatly, it's stormy here in South-Central PA and I'm really feeling it. I had an appointment at my regular doctor's, last Thursday. She increased my Lyrica and my sleep meds for me (thank goodness!)and she also wrote me out a script for hydrotherapy. I'm to call the hospital and set up an appointment. Has anyone else tried this? I'm kind of anxious to get started, but I'm also wondering how long or how much my insurance will cover? I guess time will tell. I also have a question about pain meds. I take darvocet, as needed. It usually helps, but when I have a really bad flare, it doesn't do anything. I asked my regular doctor if they had anything stronger and she said that she didn't like prescribing stronger narcotics, I needed to find another combo of meds to help. I see my rheumatologist June 6th and I'm wondering what she'll say. Thanks! Gentle Hugs, Kristi
