Guest guest
Darlene, You are right in that I should have another sleep study done, but right now I am dealing with cancer and raditation and now is not the time to do this. Maybe later this year. Christi Randall www.singingwomenoftexas.com Re: Sleep apnea and fibro/GERD Actually, it doesn't matter how bad your sleep apnea is - you can still die in your sleep. It can also cause strokes, high blood pressure, heart attacks and the like. If you feel that you have overcome your apnea because you lost weight or some other thing, then get another study done before you put up your machine " for good " . It's not worth your life! Gonna get real expensive in gas . Re: Sleep apnea and fibro/GERD Christi, Good luck tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. Jan > > OSA? what in the world does that stand for? Guest guest
OSA? what in the world does that stand for? My brain is just not working. I start my radiation treatments tomorrow. Christi Randall www.singingwomenoftexas.com Re: Sleep apnea and fibro/GERD Christi, Have you let your oncologist know about your OSA? While it may not be possible for you to wear your cpap at night, perhaps they can come up with something? I understand you can only deal with one thing at a time and this current " thing " is obviously more important. You'll be in my prayers, girl.
