I have had that type of feeling for years and years. No idea what causes it. I

thought at one time maybe it was my bodies electrical system shorting out so to

speak.

Anyone feel like an engine is running on the inside of you at

times???

O.K. since we all are a Fibro Family here and none of us thinks the

other is weird, or making this up,then I feel I can I ask this question.

Is there anyone else out there, who at times feels like there is an

engine running on idle inside them? It's sort of a buzzy feeling, it

will last for a few seconds then stop. I notice it when I'm sitting

quietly or lying in bed still. I'm wondering if it's one of the

medicines I'm taking or a side effect of the Fibro. It's a very

strange feeling.

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as

to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr.

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be

afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation

better.

3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is:

4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the

same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something

another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member

may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal

with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense

of humor.

5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let

us know so that we can do our best to offer our support.

Have a nice day everyone.

Yes, I've felt that way before, too. I felt it before I started any of

my meds. It was several years ago, when I started to notice my other

fibro symptoms. I'm curious now, I wonder what it is. It's hard to

explain. With mine, I kind of feel like my eyes are pulling together.

Does that make sense?

I've had that feeling too, for years and years. Feels more like an

electrical current type of buzz and sometimes feels like it is almost

constant over my entire body and I can feel it when I'm sitting at a

keyboard, etc. Mine is definately not medication related.

May be some sort of actual physical nerve thing...or that's what I've

chalked it up to.

I think it's very interesting that other people feel it too....and that I'm

not crazy. (Well, not AS crazy.)

--- Oh Ya'll, I feel so much better knowing that others get this

too. My husband said, well, that's a new one...So I don't say much

to him cause of his (attitude) so as not to get my feelings hurt...

I wonder is it really our electrical system going wacko inside

us??... Yes, I understand the pulling eye thing too. like there on

rubber bands..Hinky

Yes, yes, yes! I too have that current running through me. Like I'm

vibrating some where in the core of my body. I can never touch and

I'm not sure how i turned it on or shut it off.

I do have times when I am feeling really bad.... when I cough it literally

vibrates through all my muscles.  I feel it in my arms and everywhere.  Just

like a vibration or something.

I don't know it that is somewhat like the feeling you get.  But it sounds close.

I had the same experience when I was upped on my dose of Lyrica. Check with your

doctor that prescribed the medication. You may need to be brought back to the

dose you were on or go somewhere in between.

Also, please remember to sign your postings. I don't know who sent this!

I feel like this alot, like my whole insides are shaking I never

related this to the fibro though cause the doctors always told me that

it was an anxiety disorder that was causing it.

Hi Hinky,

Can't say as I've had this, but Lord knows it's a possibility of medicine...and

nope I don't think you are weird at all. It's amazing the things this beast does

to our poor bodies.

Anyone feel like an engine is running on the inside of you at

times???
