Debra,

I've been on the Lyrica since 1/18/08, starting at the 75 mg 2xday,

then after 2 weeks, went to 150 mg 2xday. And I probably started

experiencing the side effects sooner, but have just noticed them

because from 1/21/08 until about 3 weeks ago, I was on massive

amounts of steroids, which also causes poofiness and swelling. I know

my blood clot isn't causing the swelling, although I have to keep my

legs elevated every day for 3-4 hrs to help it dissolve and it wasn't

until Thursday night that a lightbulb went off in my head and I

looked at my meds and the only one I have changed (added) is the

Lyrica. I'm waiting on a cb from the nurse at the rheum's office on

Monday - I spoke with the nurse on Friday and she was going to get

w/the rheum and back with me.

I truly hope you continue to have the benefits you and everyone else

who has started on it! As we all know, not everything works for

everyone, although I was hopeful this would work for me,

too....sigh....
