Guest guest
Debra B., I believe they will be taking me off of the Lyrica. I can't take Lasix; the last time they tried to get rid of this swelling, I ended up in the hospital with renal failure (was on 80 mgs of lasix plus the potassium). The good news of that is that an unknown blood clot was found and is now being treated. I am glad it is working for you! I am on a different diuretic (bumex) but it doesn't do much for the swelling, which is so bad that when it does go down (like early in the morning), everything " hurts " even worse! Darlene > > Darlene, > I was experiencing severe swelling of my hands, feet and ankles. That is a side effect of Lyrica. My doctor put me on lasix and potassium and like today I take 1 of each and tomorrow I will take 2 of each. It has gotten rid of my feet, ankles and hands swelling. > Hope this helps! > > Debra B_._,___ > > > ______________________________________________________________________ ______________ > You rock.
