Guest guest
yes...I am a huge Charmed Fan. My heart was broken knowing that season 8 would be the last. For some odd reason watching this show has brought some sort of peace to me and my problems. Its my way of escaping the constant on going pain that I am in. The funny thing is that my kids know when I am hurting the worst, just by what I am watching on tv...they know when Mom is on a Charmed marathon, that that means don't mess with Mom she isn't feeling good. LOL I am just taking life one day at a time, trying my hardest to make it to the end of each day. My days are filled with Charmed staying in bed with heating pads/cold packs and praying for the pain to go away.Praying that today my family will understand what I am going through, and last but not least praying for a cure and a medication that won't make me vomit. Its pretty sad when you don't have the energy to take a shower or even get dressed for the day, I live in my nighties, cloths are just to restrictive and very uncomfortable for me. I am so glad I found this group...I have tried many different groups in hopes to find someone or a group that could really understand me. Blessed Be /Ohio www.countryfairy.com -- Hi - First a question about your user ID - Are you a fan of the TV show, " Charmed " ? Because I am, big time. I have the first 6 seasons on DVD so far. Now, what you said about never leaving the house, etc., could describe me to a tee. For me, though, I have more fatigue than pain. I showered this morning because I had to before getting a massage. But I hadn't showered since last week Wednesday. It just takes more energy than I want to expend if I'm not going out anyways. As for pain, I take tramadol, and it does help me in conjunction with Tylenol. I'm sorry it doesn't help you. Do you know that you can take 100 mg. at a time and up to 300 mg. a day? Maybe a higher dose would help you. I wish you luck in finding the right doctor for you. Take care. Jeanne in WI Don't feel bad, my doctors don't give out the controlled substances such as vicodin either, the only thing I can get is tramadol (ultram) which is just a glorified Tylenol in my book. I wish I could find a doc that could help me, my life has diminished down to nothing. I don't leave the house, I don't go shopping, I don't do any house work, I can barely drive (local)my shoulders end up hurting so bad from holding on to the wheel. I know that sounds crazy but its true. I have found that if I drive more than 15-20 minutes I get that horrible pain in my shoulders. Isn't this pathetic that I cant find a decent doc to help me. I am so tired of telling everyone over and over again that I can't do certain things, well I could but I would be laid up in bed for a week trying to recoop. I feel so helpless, I can never make plans to do something, for I don't know how I will be feeling on that exact day, then when I do make the plans, I end up having to cancel them due to my pain levels. Guest guest
, Have you tried Provigli for your fatigue? I just went on it and I am amazed at how much it has helped my fatigue!!!! Are the pain meds the ones that make you throw up? They make me really sick and I have to take a nausea pill with them. Of course this makes me really tired, but with the Provigil, I don't have to sleep so much and actually feel like doing something.
