Guest guest
Hi Angie, I think you will probably be able to answer that a day or so afterward. It is probably a good thing if you don't have any rebound effect. Sometimes when I have a really tight muscle spot, I press really hard on it and while it hurts like the devil and it eventually feels better. It's sort of like Acupressure without the knowledge or training. I hope it helps. Marti Angie lovinglifeinnv@...> wrote: I went and got a pedicure today and they massage your foot and lower leg. She definitely hit a trigger point in my leg. I was wondering if massaging a trigger point was a good thing or a bad thing. I just gritted my teeth and let her do it. But still wondered what the out come might be. Any ideas? Guest guest
For me, it hurts like the dickens but it is a good thing because it always feels better later. N.
Guest guest
I am in total agreement with you Marti. I do the pressure on sore muscles and knots and while it hurts like the dickens it helps. I do that to my son too and it h really helped his muscles relax. Hugs to all. Lil > I went and got a pedicure today and they massage your foot and lower leg. Guest guest
I was getting myofacial trigger point release therapy. It does hurt where the therapist pushes on the trigger point, but it always makes somewhere else on the body feel better!! I have information on myofacial trigger point therapy if the group owner/moderators will allow me to provide it to the group. It explains what the myofacia is...so forth and so on.
