Hi Angie,

I think you will probably be able to answer that a day or so afterward. It is

probably a good thing if you don't have any rebound effect. Sometimes when I

have a really tight muscle spot, I press really hard on it and while it hurts

like the devil and it eventually feels better. It's sort of like Acupressure

without the knowledge or training.

I hope it helps.

a trigger point was a good thing or a bad thing. I just gritted my teeth and let

her do it. But still wondered what the out come might be. Any ideas?

I am in total agreement with you Marti. I do the pressure on sore

muscles and knots and while it hurts like the dickens it helps. I do

that to my son too and it h really helped his muscles relax. Hugs to

all. Lil

Good question. I have heard that if you can grit and bear the pain, it is

good for you.

I was getting myofacial trigger point release therapy. It does hurt where the

therapist pushes on the trigger point, but it always makes somewhere else on the

body feel better!!

I have information on myofacial trigger point therapy if the group

owner/moderators will allow me to provide it to the group. It explains what the

myofacia is...so forth and so on.

Hugs,
