Guest guest
thank you. Prayers are most welcome. Re: Pen Pals/ Suzanne I understand about the writing thing, trust me. Often, I make my own stationary, so when I can write, I have big kindergarten lines to write on..lol. I know that sounds silly, but sometimes I just need the big ole lines when I have a flare up and writing hurts, but I still have to write for some reason. I am glad you said that though, because now I can make sure I send you some cards, and hopefully give you some smiles during this tough time. I hope you dont mind if I keep you in my prayers. Just so you know.. my cell number is in the database. Ifyou ever need to talk.. just call. *hug* -Suzanne > > Even though I do not post much, I have added my name to the database as I still like to write letters (although due to the pain in my shoulders/wrists I usually " write " my letters on the computer (otherwise they are unreadable). Anyway, I have added my name. Although I do not know just how much I will be able to participate in the next few weeks/couple of months as I am getting ready to undergo radiation theapy for a grade 2 tumor that was removed from my spine in Feb. So I may be out of it for a while. Just depends on how hard the treatment hits me. > > Christi Randall > www.singingwomenoftexas.com > > > > > > > Re: Pen Pals/ Suzanne > > Suzanne, > > Just looked in the database and saw you live in Alabama. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. > > 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. > > 3. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. > > 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. > > Have a nice day everyone. >
