Guest guest
I don't go in for surgery until Monday, so post-ops can answer most of this. My surgeon has us take a gallstone medication for 6 months after the surgery. The nutritionist said that gallstones can form when you undergo any rapid weight loss so it is possible that gallstones can happen with either surgery. Some people don't dump when they eat sugar, but from what I read, most do. I want to lose almost 200 pounds and just didn't think I could do it with the lap band. I am willing to take vitamins for the rest of my life in order to have the best chance of getting and keeping the weight off. in MI > > Hi my name is Starlotte and I am 26 years old 305 pounds 5 " 5 and I > want to have WLS my doctor ofers both the Lap band and the RNY but I > dont know which one to get.
