Guest guest
Hey all, I have another question I am just full of them it seems. LOL Have any of you found that seeing a chiropractor works? My friend has graves disease and adrenal fatigue and she see one, he told her that he could help me, not cure me but he can keep me from progressing.worse. He is offering me a good price and every week visits but before I go with this I wanted to know if it has worked or made things worse for an one. Thanks bunches. Also thank you for answering all of my questions. I have noticed that my knees go from tingling to stabbing pains and the thing with my eyes is driving me nuts. I do suffer from migraines but the thing with my eyes is not related, I had to keep a journal on it for a few weeks and the flashes in my peripheral vision actually looks like something coming from my eyes. it is weird and it i driving nuts. LOL Thanks so much for all of the advice and help you have given me. I thank the Lord for leading me to this place. God bless Rise " Wampler Wife to Rich, mother to 11 Angels straight from God . Guest guest
Hey Rise, I don't know if you've read my post today, but I've been seeing a chiropractor for several weeks, and have seen a lot of great changes in the way I feel. He is sensitive to people with fibro, and he will occasionally do something with my trigger points that make a huge difference. Currently I'm seeing him 3 x a week, and he is also taking care of my husband. For 3 treatments (well, 6 counting my hubby) he is charging us $90 a month. Our insurance only covers 1 visit a month, but Josh (chiropractor) really cares about the overall health of everyone he encounters. I have a friend who is currently not working, she has fibro, bad osteo-arthritis, several degenerated discs, and he is willing to treat her for free. You might have to shop around for the right chiropractor, as some don't seem to know how to deal with fibro. But, as I mentioned in my other post, I've never had any discomfort from any of my adjustments. I'd seen another chiropractor about a year, several years ago, and I always felt like I'd been run over by a freight train after my adjustment I hope this helps, cyn At 01:38 PM 3/31/2008, Rise Wampler wrote: >Hey all, > >I have another question I am just full of them it seems. Guest guest
This is good advice for anyone with FM looking into new or different treatments: 1. Educate yourself on the treatment being given, how specifically it is going to benefit/relieve your FM symptoms. Be prepared as much as possible. Ask questions, write them down so you can remember them at the doctors office. 2. Get a second opinion if you have any doubts. Cover all of your bases of opprotunity. 3. Share your treatment information with anyone who is seeking relief. Sometimes all we have is each other. 4. Keep in mind that everyone is wired different, what may work for one person, may not work for another. 5. Don't give up and throw in the towel, take a break if you need to. Focus on something, anything to get you motivated enough to keep up the good work. 6. Look over your options, keep notes or a journal of your experiences if you need to back track in time for an answer. My memory is so bad sometimes I think that I may have to write down my name just to remember it.

Guest guest
Hi Rise, I have a wonderful chiro and he does help. Only my insurance doesn't cover much of the visit and I haven't seen him in awhile. I would sure give it a try if he comes recommended. Hugs, /Mi Will a chiropractic work?
