Guest guest
---I started with the rib pain about a year ago. I had it x-rayed and nothing... It hurt so bad it took my breath away sometimes. I sat with a wet-heat heating pad for weeks on me. I still have it ( right sides worse) and have it on both sides. I wondered why, now I know, another fibro thingy... great...Hinky In Fibromyalgia_Support_Group , " Martha dickinson " wrote: > > It's a releif to read this, I've had rib pain with no apparent cause for > years, they've been x-rayed so many times i swear I glow lol... do any of > you have pain more on one side than another? > > > > > When I had rib pain under my right rib I ended up being hospitalized > > and they found out I needed surgery to get my glabladder out because a > > gallstone got stuck. > > > > > > > > > > -- > Goddess Bless, > > Martha > > georgiamensans-subscribe > > >
Guest guest
I have fibro, my mother has fibro (although not diagnosed, as her doc doesn't believe fibro is a legit dx, but she has ALL of the tender points as well as many of the more " common " fibro symtems, if there are such things), and now my 14 y/o daughter has started having rib/chest wall pain. She has to take a hot shower and use a heating pad at night in order to sleep. Bt it was so bad last week we ended up taking her to ER at 1 am as she was in so much pain and said it felt like someone literally knocked the breath out of her. Of course all the labs and chest x-ray came back normal. But even though he didn't say the word fibro, the ER doc did say we should probably get her to a pediatric Rheumy (not one in our area so we'd have to drive 200+ miles to the city). And though she had it on both sides, her right is worse, too. I hope and pray my child doesn't have this monster... Salma > ---I started with the rib pain about a year ago. Guest guest
Dear Salma, I pray your daughter doesn't have it either. Best wishes. /Mi Re: Re: rib pain... yes/ Hinky I have fibro, my mother has fibro (although not diagnosed, as her doc doesn't believe fibro is a legit dx, but she has ALL of the tender points as well as many of the more " common " fibro symtems, if there are such things), and now my 14 y/o daughter has started having rib/chest wall pain.
