Diane, it just blows my mind of how many people on this site have said they have

a Vit D deficiency. It sure probably is something to do with fibromyalgia. I

certainly hope you get to feeling better honey. I hope the Vit D helps you out.

It is good that you got it checked or you may have never known. I guess I might

need them to check mine too.

Sometimes I think that fibro just messes up our entire system. It seems to

affect everything from metabolism to brain waves and brain chemistry.

It is such a complex disease it is a no wonder they have not figured it out yet.

The questions are which things come first? Is it the fibro causing all the

imbalances and deficiencies, or is it the deficiencies causing the fibro???? I

know my hormones are out of whack and always have been because I was diagnosed

with polycystic ovarian disease in my early 20's. They found back then that I

had way too much estrogen and too much progesterone. No telling what it is

doing now.

Well, hope you feel better,

love and hugs,

Debra V.

hey Debra,

shoot it wouldn't hurt to have them do the blood work my levels of hormones

where all crapped to

but being a total Hysterectomy he wasn't worried about that. but after the 8

weeks of the vitamin D prescibtion type he will run it again. I am to also still

take my calcium.

any thing to try and see how the pain and other symptoms respond or not..lol

Ok... I looked it up... vit D is fat soluble

Vitamin D is fat soluble and it says you can overdo it.  So I will be careful

not to take a really large dose since I have had no levels run on it.

If you take too much, it can cause an overabsorption of calcium which can cause

a problem.  Maybe I need to have a level run???

Just some thoughts,

Debra V.
