Hi-I'm new here, but not new to FM--I was diagnosed back around 1994, though

many

doctors along the way told me it didn't exist...

I live in a suburb of New York City called White Plains. I am 46 years old and

have two 7

year old daughters. I used to be a teacher, then was a mentor of teachers, and

then I

stopped working January 2007 due to family issues. I'm looking for part-time

work now.

Nice to be here with you all, though I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing it was

for other

reasons...

Welcome, Pielet. I like your name. I hope that you will enjoy being here

and learn from the others as much as I have. I have been here since last

summer, when I went into one of the worst flairs I have ever had, because not

only was my fibro a factor, but so was my myofascial,
